2. bring it outside and burn the edges

the things we do for love
we are having a pirate party this weekend for jack. he wants a "real live treasure hunt" so he and his friends can find gold. i'm thinking they will find candy, chalk and bubbles....but who knows? tonight- yes, friday night i made his treasure map. jordan said he didn't think it mattered- sometimes he is so wrong :) (side note: my husband is wonderful. he really is. but a treasure map on a piece of notebook paper?- totally not acceptable!) anyways- i used brown craft paper to draw out my map. it's not to scale, it's not even really good.....but i made it look very authentic.
