well, here i go. about a month ago, one of my very best friends came to visit from atlanta. now a visit from one of my girls always does good things for my heart. she brought a wind up chick and bunny for the boys, and her sweet arms for holding my girl. but the best gift she brought was for me. she brought me the gift of courage. she and i have talked about starting a small business of sorts for years. seriously, i do mean years. after looking through my overflowing craft closet and totally empty office she laughed. she told me that i would end up in two places: talking to oprah about all of the wonderful things i had made, OR on hoarders. yes, she has a way with words. thanks k.
with the support of my family and friends, i have decided to take the leap- to spread sunshine in the little ways i can. i imagine this will be a challenge, one i am ready to attempt. as i mentioned before i have three boys in my life and one sweet girl who always come first. so if a week or so goes by with no post, you can assume that i've been knee deep in play-doh sandwiches, or digging for worms. or if a post is short- i'm typing with one hand cause the other is holding 12 pounds of sweetness. and if i don't return emails every night- well, i'm on the porch with that grown-up sweet boy in my life- thanks for stopping by. please check out my new etsy shop www.sunnylittlethings1.etsy.com
