My husband's cousin definitely is the best gift-wrapper in our family. We play "Dirty Santa" at the family Christmas every year, and you can always tell which gift is hers because it looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteStephanie, YOU are the best gift wrapper I've ever met! I can always tell which gifts are your at the birthday parties...because they always seem to "fit" the child they are being "gifted" to! The tags, the brightly colored papers, and the extra wide ribbons are always the perfect touch! You are definately my inspiration when it comes to gift wrapping..you always go the extra "touch" to make it special!~Courtney Leach
ReplyDeleteI used to be the resident gift wrapper (even after I was out of college, my mom would have me wrap most of the gifts she bought for Christmas). Being a mom now, I'm much less creative with my gift wrapping - and since a lot of my gifts get shipped or travel with us, I rarely use bows anymore! Maybe I'll get back into 'pretty presents' this year :)
ReplyDeleteIs is bad to say me!! ha!! I absolutely love wrapping presents and always have a theme from the wrap, to the ribbon and bows, to the cards I give....it is actually my favorite part of buying gifts...wrapping them!! your work is precious and even if I don't win, I am going to have to get some at your etsy shop!!
ReplyDeleteYour sister, Jennifer, has always given the most beautifully wrapped gifts. I tell her every time! :)
ReplyDeleteboth of my sisters, you-steph and jen, so i think i should win so this christmas i can show you both up!!! love you!!! and quit telling people what a crappy wrapper i am :)
ReplyDeleteone of my friends wraps gifts so beautifully... always puts the cutest toppers on!
ReplyDeleteMy sister wraps the cutest gifts. :)
ReplyDeleteThe best wrapper in my family has to be my mom-she makes everything so special and they all look beautiful! She learned from my late grandaddy who took such pride in making our family's presents look so pretty at Christmas. He would use comics to wrap the kids gifts and we loved it. Love your blog!
ReplyDeleteYOU wrap the prettiest gifts. There, I said it, now give me some tags.
ReplyDeleteMy Aunt Deborah is the best wrapper in the family; she always includes a small ornament tied into the professionally tied bow. With these tags I think I can steal her title though!!
ReplyDeleteOh... a girl after my own heart!!! I LOVE wrapping gifts, and my MOM is the best wrapper out there! All the gifts coordinate under the tree, and each has its own unique feature. I can get so sucked into wrapping paper and ribbon!!! I would LOVE to win some of your tags! anne sorrells
ReplyDeleteSteph, your blog is precious as are your 3 little darlings! Sarah Whitfield wraps the best presents in our family by far! She always uses unique things like twine to make each present special and different. She even takes the time to wrap gifts for my kids like that, even while knowing they'll rip into them regardless of the wrapping!

My friend Mary K wraps the best presents ever! She even wrapped a Bumbo seat perfectly for our friend's baby shower - now that's hard to do!! And the best part is - as a gift after my 3rd baby who was born near Christmas - she wrapped all of my presents for me!! I looked like Martha Stewart that Christmas. :-)
ReplyDeleteMy great aunt! Her packages are always so elegant. I love looking at her Christmas tree because the packages are so awesome! You almost don't want to open them and ruin it :)
ReplyDeleteYOU are, Steph! You make every gift so special and adorable with your wrapping. The presentation of a gift is something I really appreciate! I bought some red, green and lime green polka dotted ribbon for my gifts this year and I can't wait to find the perfect paper to go with it! I want those cute tags! :)
ReplyDeleteMy mom wraps the best gifts always using pretty ribbon and trim. I, on the other hand, have been using the same three rolls of wrapping paper for the last five Christmases. I know I must be such a disappointment!
