teacher-to-be

do you know when you are happy and sad all at the same time?  that's how we're feeling :)  we are so proud of our babysitter.  this weekend she graduates from college.  she has earned her masters in education from jmu.  she is leaving us to become a teacher!  we've enjoyed her for the past few years.  she is wonderful.

we wanted to make her a little something for her new job.  i had the kids tell me why they think miss laurie will be a good teacher.  i wrote their answers on little paper crayons and attached them to things for her new classroom.  they were right- she's going to be an amazing teacher.

 thank you laurie for loving my kids these past few years.  we are so proud of you- you're going to be the best teacher!  we are certainly going to miss you!   love, stephanie

with teacher appreciation around the corner- i think this could be adapted for the kids teachers as well!
